Just throwing this out there as an idea:
Carriers can be ordered to attack targets up to 200 units away. When this is ordered, it will spawn a squad of appropriate air units (ASF for air, torp bombers for underwater targets, gunships for everything else). The spawned air units will have a special shield that makes then *invincible, with 1 caveat: The carrier will take damage when the air units are hit, equal to how much damage they take. When the carrier dies, they die.
Do you guys like this idea?
Would you vote for it in the next faf patch?
(FYI, If I get more "no" than "yes" responses, I'm not going to bother wasting time to code this.)
