did not read a single post before.....
and now no lasers anymore....
everyone could see the impact of cybran lasers.....
sera lasers are invisible to....
they where fine before....
Laser are what made cybran pds so awesome and now they look just crap.....
who decidet that...
its not like you could build airscauts for looking what he is doing....

You realize that it wasn't the main focus of the change right ?

The only answer i expected, but there is a difference. I'm not spaming flame threads, i just wrote one time in an existing thread that i also think mantis are a little bit op.

Sorry that I'm a "moron" but I can't seem to find anything discussing the "full change" other than the list in the what's new section of faf, which merely indicates that there was a change. I just played my first game with the new Cybran laser effects, and I'm wondering what justified them going from so cool to so goddamn ugly, so if you could maybe direct this moron to the relevant material...?

Fixed the Rhino and Cerberus projectiles not able to hit moving targets.
Cerberus and Rhino lasers are now visible even if you don’t see the “source”.


From there, I think you can connect the dots.

Unless you build Cerberus in order to make 7-year old fireworks effects to contemplate.

I'll try to improve the fx later, for now it's a bug fix change. The beam is supposed to never miss, but it can't hit a moving target (it shoots ahead) 50% of the time. So instead of having 117 DPS the DPS ranges from 60 (and sometimes 0) to 117 DPS, depending on your luck. Luck should not be a parameter for a structure / unit that is supposed to have pinpoint accuracy and has lower DPS precisely because of this.
