Anti-teleport towers

Wouldn't the anti-teleport towers from the Blackops mod be a great addition to the game ? They are not op, you have to build them and their reasonable anti-teleport area still leave some possibility to teleport ? They would solve a ot of problems with SACU tele etc... .

a SACU with Teleport is
2050 mass
+3000 mass
+15.000 mass
+ 4500 mass (overcharge)
=25.000mass, that means you can build a monkey loard for each teleporting SACU, you can basicly let them patrol in your base or simply ATACK

a SACU with tele can move spot in a few secs.

How many monkeys do you intend to have in your base ? :)

tele scus have nearly no damage they hardly cant do anthing
they are used for killing single antinukes with some luck but thats it

never saw them worth their price

anti tele towers are needet because a single acu can kill 2 experimentals easy in blackops

Then put it in the blackops section. Anti-tele towers are not needed in regular FA.

Then watch the 2 replays I posted in the thread about the TELE sacu ;).

They cause a LOT of damages!

4500 mass overcharge? You mean for Sera SCU OC? An OC upgrade will replace the tele one...

Hahahaha, about half my total kills in like the last 10 games I played came from tele SACU's, about 500 - 700 average.
I wonder thought why people refuse to counter them :roll:

I would support an anti tele tower though, about the range and price of an anti nuke or mb less range, but I already wanted that 4 years ago so... there are much other cool things you can do with a tele SACU, doesn't have to win the game in 2 minutes. Maybe they should be cheaper then, though.

here's a compromise: add some randomness to the target coordinates of the teleport.
