Hi, something I noticed when testing the buffed chrono dampener:

Max range = 35 (from 22)

Someone forgot to change the blueprint cause it's still 22, way shorter than the range of the upgraded gun (35).

Chrono also doesnt work underwater which is a bummer, it would be interesting to use in early and midgame naval fights on small maps.

OK chrono is total BS, it stuns friendlies, must be a bug.

When has an ACU gun ever worked underwater? Besides the torpedo upgrade for Cybran?

ACU TML backpack works underwater, shield and ACU engie suite works underater. Chrono should too.

The chrono range was fixed back in 3623. The Aeon ACU's indirect fire circle is the radius of both gun range and chrono dampener. Even with it hitting allied units, its still very strong if you know where to position it.

I don't think so since there is no button for it. I've seen my chrono fire as an independent weapon at targets not in gun range, so i'd assume hold fire would shut it down. Only other way to get around that bug would be to transfer whatever allied land army is nearby to the player with chrono.

Even with it hitting allied units? It still is mildly effective but that behavior is inexcusable lol. Probably just an error from the GPG days, though.

Hmm, I'm not totally sure, but does ground fire trigger chrono when ACU is underwater?

The chrono Dampener stunning allied units is only an issue in multiplayer games. It is probably a limitation to the super effectiveness of multiple Aeon ACU all equipped with it that would stun everything the opponents throw at them without any possible counter because the more Aeon ACU you have, the more chances you have to perma stun everything. If only the ACU can act, it's not as bad as if the whole allied armies are unaffected.
I'm pretty sure 4 Chrono dampenered ACU are pretty much unstoppable already, there is no need to make it worse.

I doubt they would be unstoppable (sniper bots, fatboy, T2/Z3 PD air...).
I don't actually see the point of that upgrade, in what case exactly would it ever be possibly better than the shield you can get for about the same price? And 4 Aeon ACU with shield and range upgrade indeed are kinda unstoppable...
