Reclaim Exploit

Postby Casimus » 22 Mar 2013, 17:41

I see no discussion on this anywhere, which I find strange. I know this is more prominent in the Seton s community but I think this needs addressing and ultimately fixing.

I know some will argue that this isn't a glitch, many a conversation has been had about this so I want to put my case forward....

1) A tree is a tree is a tree, if the tree is moved or knocked down the mass value should not change in any way.
2) Because of this if one person does it others HAVE to do it in order to keep up.

We have all seen the reclaim statistics for those using the exploit and those not using it, the difference is massive. I hope there are some other like minded souls out there that want to see this blatant exploit fixed, until then if you do it don't join my lobby!!!

Wait... knocking down trees causes them to increase in value?

funny, isnt it?

guess if some trees are knocked down they become "another tree" because the original tree does not have a "broken tree" thingding

I saw this too. Some setons players are building a factory now which will build only scouts. These scouts are driving over the trees.
It's sounds realy stupid, but some setons players are used to it. Maybe it will be just a setons problem.

So if it's not on every map, you have to find the faulty prop used in that map.

If it's the same problem on every map with trees, the easiest fix would be to remove all mass from trees (they would provide only energy).
