I'm not going to go all zen-buhddist philosopher on you guys, but I have to wonder why everyone is so hateful in game. I play FA because I like to kick people's faces in with stompy robots and smashy tanks. I notice a ridiculously large portion of the community persistently whines about things in-game, and I have to wonder how they actually enjoy the game. I know for a fact that I love this game, even if I have to take a break every once and a while if I wind up with a consecutive string of 5 losses and feel like crap, but even then I know I learned something walking away from it.
But these other guys man, they need to take a chill-pill or something. I just played a game where the enemy team overcommitted offensively and didn't focus enough on economy or shoring up their defenses, our team of course took advantage and picked them apart. But the whining, one dude on the enemy team was regularly posting 'Restorer Noob' to which the guy on our team (who was doing a bad job of spamming Restorers) replied 'Learn to counter'. Restorer Spam Guy was also ALL-CAPSing orders at his own team despite the fact that he was at the bottom of the scoreboard and loosing his territory. The message I remember most was 'stop making corsairs and build a spider or something!' despite the fact that my Corsairs had saved his ass several times.
I guess my point is really that people need to lrn2enjoy the game. Enough of this crap about OP units and stuff, even OP things have counters. And, you know, the same goes for the dudes on the winning team. If I found myself spamming Restorers at some point, and I was winning the game, and a guy on the enemy team asked me, POLITELY, to drop the Restorer spam, I would glady self-destruct my Restorers and reclaim them, and switch to another tactic. Come on guys, show a little bit of compassion, have a little bit of fun. We're all bros here.
