I think getting a general FAF youtube channel might be a good thing.
Getting Gyle stuck with a partnership with machinima is probably a bad thing. His subscriber numbers have been very impressive lately and there is no need to attach to some large behemoth be forced to play ads on videos and then give half the profits to a 3rd party.
I seriously doubt that many players who regularly watch machinima channels would be interested in supcom fa so gyle wouldn't get much help, but would give up a lot.
The better choice would be to keep the supcom FA network going unofficially. One thing that people must recognize, is that when you become a partner you lose the ability to control whether or not ads are played on your video and that in turn limits what kind of content you will be willing to put into your videos, for example background music.
In my opinion Supcom FA channels should stay independent and help eachother out. We should also encourage our casters to branch out into other games and we should help the upcoming casters with subscribers and exposure as well as criticism. We have FAF, we don't need a partnership to tell us what to do.
