Well, again, if i read this correctly, it is a lot. So you take everything or nothing, right ?
I suppose the new publisher will just continue with any existing publishing contract, maybe lower prices or create game collections to try to make some money but that's all. They are already publishers out there.
So if the buyer take this as a "lot", chances are he won't pay any attention to a lot of the games included. I looked at the list, and Supcom and FA seems to be the biggest productions in it, no ?

Anyway, who cares about publishing rights ? If no one wants it, or if fans buy it, the game could become free, that's it ? Everyone can already try it before buying, or just cr*ck it, so it won't change much for FAF players i think. If FAF get it, there might be some press talking and more players would discover FAF. That would be cool for the publicity it would make for FAF. I think it is just a matter of time before it happens one way or another. With time and quality, community-driven projects ends up being talked of in game related media or press.
The interesting thing however, would be to get hands on actual source code, development tools and the rights to modify everything. I highly doubt this comes in a nice usable package, but i may be wrong. With GPG maybe going down, what's the story concerning that ?
