Getting Started

Postby Setna » 11 Feb 2013, 06:16

I just bought FA on steam, but I have vanilla as a boxed copy. Should I just activate vanilla on steam and install it there with FA? I don't want to cause any issues and from what I understand I need both vanilla and FA to play all factions online. If there is a sticky on this already throw a noob a bone and link me to it.

Oh and big ups to Zaphods FA casting for making me want to play SupCom again. Especially now that I realize my PC can handle it. =)

You only need Forged Alliance bud. The need for SupCom original is negated in FAF.

any retail version means both, SupCom and FA avalible on steam, however you only need Forged Alliance if you dont want to play the singleplayer campain of vanilla, there is a "vannilla" mod intergrated in FAF, not sure how good it is
