I'm surprised that when I searched for this thread, I didn't get a single relevant result. Title=thread.

I want to love the Cybran, but I wish they had more burst-power weapons to synergize with their stealthiness.

I've moved from faction to faction with unit balances and my own investigation of each faction. After many years playing and learning my own style of play (all the way back to Total Annihilation) and with the current state of the game and its unit balances I would have to say Cybran is my favorite. It fits well into my style and I love the cheap low cost units they provide.

I'd say Cybran, I like their backstory, I love their aesthetic (even if it's hard to see which engineer is making which structure), the stealth options are tremendous and the Mantis speed and constant pewpewpew helps keep the adrenaline up. Also T2 bombers and TMLs are excellent.

But in reality I mostly play UEF because I am a coward who prefers to have a tough ACU and jack-of-all-trades options available.

That's funny I was thinking of making a thread just like this myself. Asethetic wise I like the Aeon because their units are all curvy and rounded (especially the engineers, too cute!). Story wise I root for the Cybran for obvious reasons, but I can't stand their spikey styling, as well as finding it too cliched.

Joking aside, i like their uber agressive playstyle, even though it's doomed me a few times. Oh, and having your brain enhanced with AI implants sounds really epic, too. And also, i love how over-engineered units are, they're like, b*tch please, of course we can make a walking destroyer.

Their backstory is also the best (LIBERATE!) and to me they're the only good guys, basically. The others are just either "zomg i has to rule all" (looking at you, UEF) or "purge and cleanse anyone that doesn't beleive in our... stuff" (looking at you, Aeon, you derpy space hippies) and well... "adgkjshdgprbnreibanwgfbad" (translation: "DIE HUMANS!") (Seraphim) so yea, Cybrans ftw even story wise ^^

... and did i mention the Monkeylord is just the most badass unit ever made? Well, it is.
