Proposal to change the UEF T4 Novax unit to be more realisti

Hello fellow FAFer. I think there is room to improve on the Novax design and make it more interesting. Novax is supposed to be a LEO satellite with a beam weapon, so why it doesn't move like a satellite?

So here are my changes:

When the player launch the Novax He will have to draw a line on the map representing the sat orbit.

The Novax will move along that line and "disappear" when it goes off map and after a certain period appears back on the other end.

Increase the Novax vision radius. It's a satellite after all :/

The center can launch more sats but a high resource cost.

The will solve the problem of stacking Novax, and free the balance team to test different dps (alpha damage & fire cycle).

What do you think?

I think this would remove any micro potential, targeting might be hard to code, would be damn near useless on large maps while simultaneously being a destructive machine on small maps, and overall creates many more problems than it solves.

It is a satellite and we know the map players see is a projection inside the ACU. What prevents the satellite from simply being in geostationary orbit?

The sat was already changed recently.

Your idea of it moving in a line sounds interesting, but it leaves a lot of questions. Does it get to do damage like it does now and in additional scout a giant fat line across the map every x seconds??
