when i look at this it looks pretty good...
But so many of those maps often end on t1 phase :| (but is it my fault that i don't go t2? :D)

A major reason for the 20x20 map tourney is to see if people can develop 20x20 maps that don't converge to the meta of int rush v trans rush deciding the game. Don't really have a lot of options that avoid that sort of gameplay now.

5x5 maps are a lost cause for t1 spam 4head.

I don't think a large amount of the maps in the 10x10 map are dominated by t1 spam? Sure, maps like palms are predisposed to t1 spam, but you can still do a t2 transition and aren't forced into an utterly terrible game state due to it. Forbidden Pass more of an air spam map. I'd say Hollow, Red Rocks, Arcane might be the most spam heavy here?

kind of intresting that (at least as far as original supcom maps go) there barely seem to be 20x20 islandstylemaps similar to sung island (but symmetrycal) or bermudalocked (which imo needs at least one more groundattackpath) ..

but other than that if spawns aren´t close i think airspam in maps like strip mine or drake´s ravine are pretty much a given ..

personaly i just hate navalcentric maps like setons (that one groundpath doesn´t help for it to be intresting), roanoke abyss, seraphim glaciers or white fire .. rather have maps where naval is an option not an absolute must ..

What is genuinely the objection to giving every player a 1 or 2 vetoes though, regardless of picked or voted maps?
