Prevent nukes from detonating on weapon impact.

I started a new thread tangential to an open thread, feel free to merge if applicable.
There's currently a thread open about a Yolo nuke being destroyed by a battleship, this is kind of ridiculous. A Yolo nuke takes 2 painstakingly constructed SMD anti-missiles to be disabled, but a single random hit can stop it too?
SMD anti-missiles cost a lot of resources to construct, so it is extremely silly if a random weapon's hit is sufficient to take out a nuke instead.
Either remove the collision detection, or alternatively give nukes a lot of HP [1mhp+] and anti-nukes concomitant damage, to prevent this from happening.

Yeah... no.

I think it is amusing when someone uses their ASFs to block a nuke launch. Using a battleship to kill a Yolo mid-flight? That's skill. I love it.

It isn't skill if you do something on accident, and I'm sure nobody has ever set out to destroy a nuke with battleship fire and actually succeeded. It is just a one in a million chance that some random thing destroys a nuke or tactical missile and costs you the game, which is not fun or skillfull in the slightest.

there is already a pr done for the asf blocking, which has still not been merged.
nothing been done yet in order to prevent random shoot from killing nukes.

I can understand disabling the random AA fire killing a nuke? But you are really gonna disable the planes from blocking nukes too?

Nukes must simply detonate whenever they hit something. Problem solved.

Just think of the possibilities.

In fact, detonations up in the air should be more devastating than a current nuke. And have a bigger shockwave.

this is a simulated projectile game we're talking about. take away this aspect in FAF and there's really nothing left stopping you from switching to any other title
