Engies assist range (yellow ring)

I like the feature in Strategic Overlay, which lets me see the yellow circle of engineers that shows the scope of help. However, the ring disappears automatically when its size is reduced. If this happens to all of you, if not, how can I keep the ring visible? thank you:
