anyone managed to instal it with JAVA client?

I tried several times and doesnt matter what I do, the client will rewrite the file everytime

doesn't matter if it's java or python client, it is the same way of implementing that change.
also it shouldn't rewrite a new file in a new folder, did you follow the last instruction in kyros lobby ?
you need to create this folders : C:\ProgramData\FAForever\gamedata\2lua.nx2\lua\ui\lobby\

ok it is working now, the file needs to be folder called "2Lua.nx2"

the reason why it didnt worked for me was, because when I hosted lobby teams were off, but when I changed teams it start working
