Ladder queue waiting times need to be reverted

To whom it may concern,

the current system of ladder queuing and waiting is really killing (my) motivation to play ladder.
Before, when I saw that someone was searching, I would most of the time instantly find a game.
Now I feel cheated for not getting a game, the notification "a player of your skill is searching" has almost no value anymore.

Yes I agree, even at 1750, there is usually only 1 person at a time I can be matched with, so playing a game against someone, then waiting 3 minutes to be put with the same person seems a bit excessive.

I heard that exact point before and it does not make any sense.
Team matchmaker what? How exactly does it influence ladder? And why, in the first place? Can you not have separate system for ladder and matchmaker? Why? Can you not have different waiting intervals? Why???

There was no info about this change anywhere. All i got was bits of the inside info from the guy who helped testing it. Seem to me you guys just bigbrained it and didn't think much whether it will be good or not for actual players, and only had matchmaker in mind. Maybe next time you peek a bit out of your dark corner (zulip) and raise a discussion or shed some light on your changes?

I already posted my observation and opinions on the new queue system in zulipchat and I don't think it is a very big deal, but it does seem rather silly that the ladder1v1 matchmaking system has to operate a certain way just because team matchmaker is coming in a year or two.
