don't create useless threads when the thread already exists and is pinned.

also if you're so good at code, fell free to blow it out of the water with your own client. that's basically how we ended up with the current Java client. (Java works using a virtual machine. all java apps use roundabouts that much memory and the javaFX lib adds an enourmous amount : https://www.google.com/search?ei=LrAzXb ... CAo&uact=5 )

This should only happen when you browse the vault (and partly fixed on the next relese probably). Does this happen for you even if you don't use the vault?

Yes, from startup it zooms to 750mb+

If you make a heap dump with VisualVM i could take a look at it. Because for me the client takes about 250MB after startup. Would also be interesting to know how much of those 700MB is used heap (VisualVM shows that).

if you want to do that, feel free to ask about how VisualVM works.
