Not yet. It will finally replace my i7-3770 with prooobably a 3700X or 3900X (as a developer I benefit more from cores than raw GHz). But I am waiting for final clarification on the matter whether the X470 or B470 boards will support PCIE4.0 or not. Because the new X570 boards are heavily overpriced.

I would expect them to do just fine considering Zen and Zen+ are doing great with FAF apart from CPU score not calculating properly. Source: owner of r5 2600 on x470.

This is because Ryzen CPUs automatically pace themselves on default settings etc.
If you force it to run at high % when you are doing the test, you will get a much more accurate cpu score. It's pretty much just idling in lobby though, so you can see why it gets a *bad* score.

No, what I'm talkin about is the discrepancy between the score of 190 points for Ryzen and 190 points for intel cpus where the Ryzen just demolishes intel one even though they apparently should be on the same level.

Did you or other poeple actually test how high simspeed can be with Ryzen compared to other CPUs? Or are you just assuming CPU score is lower than it should be?

Maybe Ryzen doesnt demolist Intel so hard when it needs the same time to complete the test...

Edit:Nevermind I see that IceDreamer have made "proper" benchmark that we can actually use now that I somehow missed last time. As for why said that the cpu score is not representative is cuz' during seton games I for what ever the reason had higher simspeed than people using intel CPU's even though the my CPU score was worse than theirs. As represented on this old SS.

Benchmark for those who actually want to try it: /viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16272&start=50#p164863

Ok here are the numbers I got after running the benchmark 3 times in row. The most important CPU settings are on one of the SS. As for the in lobby cpu score it is 196 as seen on attached screen shot in the other post.
