So as you guys remeber,Gas Powered Games was absorbed by Wargaming in 2013,and they also bought the rights to Total Anihilation,and Chris did hint he's "going back to his roots" in several interviews,so people got excited,but then he's gone silent,I checked he's profile recently and now it says he's starting a new gaming company he'll be revealing in the summer(also he likes pottery now for some reason),so I decided to check if the're have been any new interviews...

So,he left wargaming seattle,he's going independent,and according to him he's planning to change the RTS landscape once again like he did with TA and SC!

I know the article is like 9 months old at this point,but we can't just ignore this,this big,REALLY BIG!!

Let's stay practical.

1. It's rare for a celebrity game dev to really do anything amazing in their later life, especially if they are tied down to the genre/design they are famous for.

2. SupCom had an extremely large budget, CT won't get anything like that this time around.

3. In terms of theme and style, none of the various projects after SupCom really impressed me. Demigod, Wildman, even Uber's PA and Human Resources. All we really want is another SupCom (or TA) - sci-fi semi realistic style. But I don't think CT has it in him to just do the same game again but better.

4. Actually I'm not interested in a visionary. I want a well funded company that's extremely competent in competitive infrastructure and balancing to come along and do a SupCom/TA style clone, no innovation, no huge changes. Just an extremely similar game, and properly competent balancing and support for once.
