Two players controlling one faction?

Hi guys,
I've played planetary annihilation, and I really like the fact that two players can play on one faction (two commanders but shared resources and units).

I'd like to know if there was such a feature on Supreme Commander, and if not, would it be possible to make such a mod?

afaik the mod works but you need a modified .exe file (next patch will support it i guess)

Hello ownez,

there is already a way to play a single faction with 2 players.
Cheats must be enabled for this.

Open a game. One player is set as usual, and the second player is set as observer.
Start the game.

After the game is started, the observer needs to press [ALT]+[F2] to open the (cheat) unit menu.

Doubleclick the name/faction of the first player.
This will switch the observer to the player.
Now both player can controll the same faction.

To get an additional Commander, type into the Searchfield from the cheat menu:
ual0001 for Aeon ACU
uel0001 for Earth ACU
url0001 for Cybran ACU
xsl0001 for Seraphim ACU

Select the ACU and press the create button.

Thats it.
2 ACU controlling 1 faction.

I'm ashamed that I didn't see that first post, but on the other side, I'm very happy that Uveso saw that post and answered! (the other post had no information about using cheat mod to share armies)
