Got forged alliance (steam) and cant use FaF

Every time i get on FaF it lets me in a have an account but when i double click a game it says FaF needs a version of Forged alliance to play. Yet i have Forged alliance installed. And it says pick a file to run and i cant find that file. Can someone please direct me to this file. Any help appreciated even if it doesnt fully solve the problem,Thx!

It's in your steam apps directory, because you have it installed via steam. Direct it to the .exe that runs FA in your steam directory.

Woa your fast Funkoff seen quite of your replays but in my steamapps (C:\Programfiles\Steam\Steamapps\Common there was no forged alliance folder i named a forged alliance folder and put 3599 patch in it but nothing happend
its like i have the game but theres no hard evidence that i do

Your folder will be named "Supreme Commander Forged Alliance". If it's not there, you don't have FA installed on Steam, and that's a fact.

D: then this is weird i saw my father type in his credit card number and buy the game via steam its in my steam library and everything. But no .exe for the game anywhere
ive tried running it through steam 2 but i usually use the shortcut. Any idea where the file could be?

Try to copy supremecommander.exe and rename that copy "forgedalliance.exe".

Nope, FAF only supports Forged Alliance. You only need Supreme Commander if you want to use the map editor.
