How to get someone banned, who atked me when on their team.

Postby ThePunisher » 20 May 2017, 04:56

Dude named BAHOMAC completely sabotaged the game. He was on my team and I suggested he should build units instead of simply eco if he wanted to win. So he proceeds to bomb my engineers and my units, and then goes on about how he bombed his team mates earlier and didn't get into any trouble. Please ban him or do whatever you can. Never let him on your team if you actually want to win. I love this game but lower levels its simple not at all competitive due to people like this.

Every replay has an ID number assigned to it. Go to replays --> Local replays -->find the one you need --> hover over it with your mouse --> see the replay ID --> memorize it --> post.
Don't complain about that which you aren't willing to change.

Please dont post clear names here - just inform the mods about what happened, which player(s) is/are involved, replay ID and time of incidet in the replay.
Public shaming usually is not a good idea.

Am I alone in thinking that this should not be considered bannable behaviour?

War, as does life, has fragile alliances and unexpected deceits and betrayals.

At the very least, it leads to interesting dynamics and should not be forbidden per se, merely become configurable.

It already is, host your own game and change teams to unlocked then you can shift alliances as you wish. I understand killing your ally if hes a lagger or completely useless and refuses to cooperate but only then.

The acceptability of it shouldn't be circumstantial - it should be explicit (either way) or configurable, with a sensible default chosen as a community standard for rated games.

Its simple.
You NEVER attack somebody as long as you're allied with them.
If the game settings are such that you can switch alliences (mostly used in phantom games) then you should break alliance with everybody you want to attack, before you attack them.

We need to enforce this, because people are ****** , especially when they are anonymous on the internet.
Just imagine getting bombed every teamgame by an ally and you should understand why this is necessary...

Attacking an ally can be understandable under some circumstances, but is simply never acceptable.

Whenever this does happen, the moderators need reports of it happening: http://bit.ly/2a9Yg5i
And they will take action.
