Game hosting + replay watching at the same time

Thanks to the Downlord who told us how to make this possible.

!!!This works only for replays you have downloaded (launching from the file, NOT through FAF)!!!

You need to locate your game.prefs file

C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

and add following there:

    enable_debug_facilities = true
}

I't not part of any other table you already have in the file, put it at the bottom

That will allow you to run multiple instances of FA at the same time, which also includes hosting a game and watching a replay at the same time.

what line should it go on? Nested in the profile node, between line 1 and 2? In the profiles or options nodes?

I just put it at the end of the file.
So not nested at all.
And it worked.

Is it to much to hope for that this can be integrated in a way that allows watching live replays while hosting? aka through faf?

I guess someone who can develop it must think it is a good idea for it to happen tho..

Not without significant refactoring of the part of the client that handles launching FA - you're free to try though

I am in the folder "Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance" but then I have like 10 more folders within there. Where exactly is this games.pref file ?
