Factions standing across stages survey

Hello FAF,

between December 2016 and February 2017 i was making a survey on faction standing across stages. And now it's time to share the results with you!

Factions standing across stages

First of all, let me explain how the survey works:

The survey is devided into 3 categories:
- O1800 opinions
- U1800 opinions
- U1400 opinions

Then it's further devided into Factions - UEF,Aeon,Seraphim and Cybran. Next, each faction is devided into Land, Air and Naval. Lastly, these ere devided into T1, T2, T3, with one exception and that is Land, which is devided into T1, T2, T3 Early, T3 Late + Exp.

Each player could assign each faction stage 1 to 5 stars. (for example, you could assign UEF T3 Early Land 1 star and UEF T3 Late 5 stars).

There were 20 responders for each category, so in total 60 players particiapted! Thanks a lot!

The goal of this survey is to give an overall idea on how factions perform on different stages, where they perform well and where they fall behind the other factions. This survey can be used for a guide on what faction would you like to play and also for balance purposes.

Worst scoring stage:
O1800: UEF T3 Early Land, with 2,11 stars
U1800: Seraphim T3 - late + Exp, with 2,29 stars
U1400: Aeon T1 Naval, with 2,43 stars

Best scoring stage:
O1800: Aeon T3 - early, with 4,63 stars
U1800: Aeon T3 - early, with 4,60 stars
U1400: Aeon T3 - early, with 4,33 stars

Hey, i manually PMed people with the survey message, becouse of it's complexity (splitting to O1800 U1800 etc.)

But next time i'm gonna make it better so everyone can participate

Poor Seraphim.

Maybe make Othuums into hover instead of amphibious to let them be microed like auroras and shift damage to the longe-range gun

Interesting that while the distances between the perceived faction strengths varied, the general order and trends are the same across all three ranking categories.

I feel like this was very well done and fairly accurate.

On the other hand, I fear this will convince even more people that Cybrans need to be nerfed more and more... when buffing other factions is a better option in most cases.

problem here is that you are looking only on units and not on the rest like ACU, shields,...

nerf mantis and give cybran ACU something defensive, so he can fight with other ACUs, right now it is:

Cyb ACU:
- I am going to fight you!
UEF ACU:
- Go ahead, I have nano muhehe
Cyb ACU:
- Shit!!!! fall back!!! where the hell are my T2 PDs?

and yea NERF MERCY, it can fly through cloud of inties and survive
