ill share with you guys some games that i find quite interesting.


Some open waters of nefarious before the imba cup. you can also watch the one against luxun.

What i want to show with those replays?
Well, just one thing, 3(4 counting luxun one) games against seraphim on the same map, in all of them he starts with the same bo, but he just magically change it when the enemy is doing a first bomber(without having spotted it)

and if you compare the game of nefarious vs noovd and the game against luxun of the imba cup:
lets think its alright and that he guessed oponent went first air, why on game against luxun he dodge with one engy, and in the game against noovd he doesnt?

there are still much more games of nefarious/eXivo in open waters i just dont think its needed to check all of them.

If i find a game where nefarious build t1 aa when someone dont goes first air, ill claim he isnt a cheater. but until now all games i have watched just prove he is using cheats.

Haha i just watch this 3rd replay you posted there, this more funny than anything else.

He makes exactly the same cheats than against me (he even cancel an engi to start his AA!)
AA of course exactly when bombers appears.
still engi dodges without being able to know this one is focused by bomber...


What's new in this game is : (still luck as we all suppose)

3:30 first intercepter directly goes where the bomber is hidden, really far from main base. It's really dangerous as nef's 2nd air unit is a transport. With this bad vision, he could be "surprised" by any ennemi intercepter coming in his base.


4:21 Ah still my favorite unit from nefariou's BO, the agressive arty ! This one time, it's just magic: at 4:21, the trajectory is change to get a longer way to go to the same point, but it should cross 2 single engineer going for north island.

4:39 Oh damn looks like the previous trajectory was not changed enough to "luckily meet" the engineer. The arty absolutly give up his first target to go directly to those 2 expending engies.

Will someone here be blind, or hypocrite enough to tell us this move is some luck ? seriously?

The imba replay was proof enough but these are long, numerous nails in his coffin. I hope no sane mind will attempt to defend his case anymore because that would be an insult to intelligence.

I totally agree with you dudes..
In the Nefa/Luxun game on open waters, we clearly see nefa doing his "reclaim BO" (~1m15), then, without any reason (no radar, no bomber spotted, nothing...), the engy goes to east, after few seconds, it goes left and then the bomber appears..

In the same time, a T1 land aa coming to help the engy :/

We are not talking about skill here...

Fok it, what's the interest of cheating ? btw, lu_xun pwned Nefa without cheating ;P

Do you often break a "reclaim BO" for micromanage your engy in order to avoid a bomber without knowing a bomber is coming ?

And I'm not talking about the fact that Nefa took illogic directions for his arty and inties in order to meet Lu_xun engies and bombers

Nefa is a good player, how can he take so illogic directions and get so lucky ? (remember he doesnt knew the 2 engies, and the bomber)

How is it possible to anticipate like that on a 10x10 map ?

In my opinion the changing of build order to AA is not a cheat. The information available to the player to hint your opposition is going bomber first is there although it is not 100% reliable it is a good indication and this is not obtained by underhanded means, it is right there in front of you.

Personally I think it is the only means to balance the over powered bomber first tactic which has become so popular (I think the bomber its self is balanced). With all the discussion that has gone on before about how you combat it I think the rebuffs are quite weak. With Open Waters tell me how you can build a scout detect the bomber and build enough AA before it destroys all your engineers? (rhetorical question)
