Is there a way to prioritize ACU move orders over all things

I've had three games now where a single bump into a tank or something stupid not only makes the ACU stop moving but actually gets it to move the other way around. I order my ACU south, it bumps and decides to go west or north, INTO THE ARMY I'M TRYING TO AVOID.

/rant, but I think this is a rather serious issue.
