Q. Do you want balance to be frozen permanently?
- Yes, at the last GPG version (ie. 3599 or 3603).
- Yes, at one of the previous or current FAF versions.
- Yes, at a future FAF version, once I'm happy.
- Yes, as one of the balance mods. (Eg. Equilibrium)
- No, I want balance to be evolving constantly.

umm, just saying that since equilibrium is constantly evolving its gonna be hard to freeze balance at its state <3

doesnt make much sense anyway since meta is always changing when someone finds some new abuse, ect
as we know from other games that even with no patches for 10+ years whats op or not can change a lot

There's a difference between the meta changing in a game with frozen balance due to natural player trends, versus the meta being changed by balance changes implemented by developers.

Im not saying one's better than the other, but some people prefer one over the other.

There is little to no point in officially supporting that many different balance versions.
All you would acomplish by doing it would be confusing newer players who can't figure out what to do since every other lobby they join has completely different balance.

In this game alone we saw a lot of change in playstyle due to people figuring stuff out : that's great, but it also means that you can find something that is too strong, and when that happens there needs adjustment. Like exotic said, you can see it in many games.

Yes, whilst the sample size is not representative yet (or those people haven't voted), I wonder if we can take this to mean that the people who recently complained about the latest balance patches aren't opposed to change in general, they just didn't like the recent changes specifically.
