How does one capture ally AI structures?

Postby POSlostmyacct » 08 Nov 2016, 11:08

If a mass extractor in my territory gets destroyed and my ally AI out-micros me and puts down their own mex, how do you get it back without waiting for the enemy to clean it up for you?

The console command destroyselectedunits seems to only work on your own stuff, but doesn't ctrl+k do that? I could be confused here.

just reclaim\TML it (or use other forms of destruction)
then you can build your own things there.

i know with cheats you can controll other player or AI units, you can try to give units you yourself, or at least ctrl+k them (or alt+del for erasing without wreckages and death animations)
