looking for 16 players for an awesome epic cast!

these 16 players are to play out a 8 v 8 on one of the new ultimate maps.

and potentially demonstrate the full might of what that many units simulating projectiles simultaneously entails.

the idea of course is to have near positive sim speed during the game and for it not to be an endeavor.

obviously to hit high unit amounts as well.

i'd make a cinematic video from the resulting replay(s)

You can certainly overclock your cpu to 5ghz if you have good enough cooling, whether or not it's healthy for the chip is a different story

sure, and there's been recorded 8Ghz OC too, but how many common CPU can be stable at 5Ghz ?

hmm ok maybe 5GHz is a tall ask but i was convinced there'd be at least several.

and even on the 16p (i must've gotten lucky and drawn only real good cpu people) the game ran +0 the entire 40 minutes and -1 for air fights.

and only the 14player one initially showed internet lag but the player causing it promply timed out and got kicked so that resolved itself.

honestly i'm blown away at how well this runs.

Out of curiosity: Is it really about the instructions or more about cache misses?
