Would like to hear about some good race combinations for team based maps like Isis, Haven Reef, Open Palms, Setons, EOTS etc
Best air? Aeon.
Best Sea? Seraphim (...possibly uef)
Best Land? UEF/Cybran
Best combinations for Isis? Aeon/Aeon. Both go air + eco spam. Double RAS upgrades on the ACU really helps with eco and air spam.
Best combination for haven reef? If you player it left vs right, best combination would probably be Seraphim in the corner and Aeon on the island. Seraphim to siege their island, Aeon to defend against siege. If Top vs Bottom, probably Seraphim/Cybran with cyb in the corner to fast-rush to tech 2 naval.
Best combination for Open Palms? In a 3v3, Aeon in the support position and, really, any faction (not uef) in the front spots.
For setons? 4v4? Well... on a map that big you'll be okay in any position as any faction as long as your play to your factions's strengths. Seraphim/Aeon in the front would obviously fobo/aurora spam. Seraphim/UEF on the sides would go for naval supremacy with T3 subs/shields or atlantis/torp boat/shield boat/battlecruiser and then siege. Aeon and Cybran on the sides would focus on T2 naval and rely on awesome T2/T3 torp bombers to win it. Back player would go Aeon for straight air superiority/eco whoring (best asf, double RAS), but Seraphim could do the same thing because of similarly good RAS and ASF, UEF and Cybran would be best focusing on helping either the sides or front, and trying to secure a win sooner by winning the sides/front quickly than by trying to do it via air superiority.
