I could not think of any possible way to win from the position that I was in. Not to mention, my megalith could not walk down the ramp. lol facepalm

Well that game was kinda insane. I like vou vittu though but once someone gets navy, as always, there is no winning it back. Best way you could have won would have been MASS torpedo bombers. You could have got a hundred or so for the cost of that megalith and that nuke. All it takes is one snipe. Cybran T3 spy plane has sonar.

Even if you had been able to walk the mega down, it wouldn't have won the game - just defended against the battleships (until he moved the battleships out of range of the mega).

I think you would've been much better off with massed TML to counter the battleships, and just teching all your mex before investing in a game ender - such as perhaps multiple nukes, or massed torp bombers. Even the Soul Ripper would've likely done more damage.

Epic game at any rate though. :)

nooby, you are wrong, i played a game on this map, where i lost the navy, but i was able to take it back, using t3 mobile arty, t2 stationary art. cybran shields on the coast, engine stations and building a navy factory there.

Well yes but as you can see - difficult. best thing to do is not lose it in the first place. Generally you don't want t lose navy as that will cost you the game.

I recreated this exact game with another player! 47 min long game. I had bottom and eventually, with the help of 20 seraphim cruisers won.

Had you build your SML behind the ridge, you could have nuked his navy. As it was, his battleship killed your SML and you were hosed.

Regardless, you point is taken. This map highlights what is kind of a universal FA fact: when you lose sea it's gg.

First navy is EASILY beatable with first bomber. It will entirely mess up your plans for good and you will never recover.
