Promote FAF in Steam

To anyone who has the Steam version of FA (that's unfortunately not me): Can you host a game lobby in Steam titled "www.faforever.com"? It would be an extremely easy and probably an extremely effective way of promoting FAF, as the Steam plebs would convert to FAF one by one.

tatsu started doing that right now, but I wanted to ask others too, since he won't be hosting 24/7, but it'd be nice if someone was hosting one of these lobbies 24/7.

Or how does it work? (haven't played on steam before)

thell them to google forged alliance forever, cause you can't copy from lobby chat in FA afaik

I've been doing this for a day it's got really poor success thus far. most already know about FAF and are very purposefully choosing steam and the rest are also brain dead but in a different way : they can't find anything that isn't on steam/ don't know what google is.

regardless I try not to give in too quick and leave it open

Please don't talk with negativity about others - neither here nor on steam or anywhere lese, it won't help getting people here.
Other than that, it's a great idea and I hope it will result in some success. Thanks a lot!

I prefer steam to faf, and i know a fair few others do too. its not a intelligence issue, there is less hatred in steam and because theres no ranks everyone plays for fun.
I know at least 15 'brain dead' steam players who could easily beat you at the game tatsu.. quite an achievement for people without working brains, right?

I've played maybe 10 or so games of SC:FA on steam and as far as i can tell the people over there in every possible way unbearable.
They seem to know the imbalances of 3599 very well and exploit them without mercy, tend to write even more condescending stuff in the game chat than SC-Account or are just so incredibly bad at the game that you just wanna snipe your teammates and take over their bases.
Having a fun time over at steam is next to impossible.

Maybe it's a bit invasive no ? cold calling telemarketing way ... If you join a lobby, I assume it's to play a game, not to be adversised something else.
