Leave game in purpose to avoid rank dropping

Whole team leaves the game before it gets ranked because someone in team/whole team got shit start.

Is it allowed or not? Or is it even possible nowadays?

I remember there was a topic/announcement about this earlier, that it was being fixed or something but cant find it because that shitty search is ignoring every required word.

Game is not ranked or at least used to be not ranked until min 5 or 6? It's useful for when someone is lagging or whatever you can just quit without losing points. People leave games all the time for trivial reasons, so don't get too upset about it, get used to it.

Bugs and glitches is one thing. But intentionally leaving after fucking up should be banable. Happens all the time especially when playing against teams of same clan.
On maps where ACU go mid in early game people can make mistakes and die early. It should count as a loss. Last time it happened for me was in 4v4 at over 6 mins, game pretty much developed at that point.

At the very least we can agree that it takes a "bad person" to do something like that.

If the game was at over 6 mins then it should've been ranked at that point so loss was recorded, what more do you want? They felt they lost so they left. Idk why the delay was set so high though.

What time is the cut off then? 4v4 should be 8 mins

Even if some players leave the game early, they will still get a rating change provided that the remaining players remain in the game longer than the requisite time limit and report a game result. The only way to avoid this is for everyone on the team to leave the game. Which results in a game result being reported before the minimum time is achieved and no change of rating.

Even if you leave the game. If one of your team members remains and continues to fight for longer than the requisite time and looses you will receive a negative rating once the game is finished.

MORAL TO THE STORY: Don't leave the game. You have no control over what your team mates will do after you're gone.

You do if you tell them to. Or if they are all your clanmates. Since its not frowned upon, I plan to do this every chance I get.

Well it is frowned upon sort of. I tend not to like playing with players who consistently leave games. I usually prefer to go with it and adapt. Unless it is an obvious and game loosing departure from the meta I will stay.

Thanks sheeo, this was the thing i was looking for. So currently is allowed, though only suckers do it but still i see that happen in teamgames like once in couple of months. Still after the fix, 8mins is pretty long time in fast-paced maps where first actions count a lot. Whole team can quit game in 7 mins if all fronts have lost. I guess we just need a written rule that team leaving in purpose is not tolerated.
