Hi guys,
If you could pick and choose between the units and structures amongst the factions to make the best army, what would you choose?
Obviously it would be optimum to have access to everything, so some restriction is necessary for it to be a "normal-ish" factional representaion.
So lets have this list:
T1: Pick best LAB, Tank, arty, mobile aa, bomber and inty. Best T1 PD. Best boat, best sub.
T2: Best MBT, best assault support unit (eg hoplite), best mml, best "amphibious" tank. mobile aa, PD, static arty, best tml, best TMD. Factional diversion starts in earnest at T2, so choose ONE of the special T2 units (ie sparky OR beetles OR mobile stealth OR mobile shield etc). Best static shield gen. Choose any two flying units. Additionally, pick a transport if you think it makes a difference. Pick any three T2 naval units.
T3: Choose ONE siege unit and ONE heavy assault unit (eg Loyalist + Percival). best mobile T3 arty if that makes a difference to you. Choose asf, strat bomber and ONE other flying flying unit. (Ie broadsword OR continental). Choose one T3 special emplacement (eg soothsayer or ravager or harms, etc. ). Additionally, choose ONE other t3 special mobile unit.(eg absolver or sniper bot). Choose ONE t3 naval unit. Static T3 Shields are tricky due to cybran not having one, but have at it anyway)
T4: Choose any two experimentals, whether static or mobile.
Finally, choose any three com upgrades. No restrictions apply, and we'll assume for the sake of argument that all the coms are equal in every other respect. This should be fun...
The rest like T3 AA, spyplanes, T3 heavy arty etc are much of a muchness imo but you can make your selections if you feel the factional differences warrant it.
