aeon eye bug

Is it a known bug or issue that the aeon eye stops working correctly? Eg plenty of power but the area you reveal will not move no matter how many times you try?

that is probably responsible for not exaktli bug, but crazy issue. Eye of rihane need 10 000e for work corectly, so while you dont have at least 2 energy storage it behavior wierd, or simply dont work.

Spoiler: show

I was check it, in blue print it say "visionRasius" what is not exaktli visual radius, in system blu print, i check what exaktli is "vision" and it go throught everything. So yes, its supost to see cloak, underwaters, jamming, and even spoof function that game already dont use.

When you compare it with cybran perimeter, that provide visual intel on 200range, and have same price, and eye drain much more energy, imho its fair. Still cybran counterpart is much often in use.

Cybran counterpart is pretty much completely useless imo, while aeon eye gives pretty much unlimited intel, you may not always have enought power to spam eye trought all enemy base, but you can sure find nuke subs, look at game enders, and literally nothing can hide from you, while cybran eye is just worse version of omni, witch can't see cloaked units and underwater units...

Thought i don't complain about balance here, since cybran t3 air scout stealth is just amazing
Edit: it is not question about cybran eye being shit, it is more about being unable to hide from aeon eye, no matter what you do... at least back in buggy days you could hide acu inside of aircraft carrier :D

Like Ithilis said (I think), you need enough energy in storage in order to move it. It's not just about having enough income, it actually pulls a ton of energy from storage every time you move it.

Ok good intel, thanks for the help all.

My own opinion on it being OP is that it isn't, mainly due to the cost of building. Not only in eco but time. That's time the enemy is probably building a nuke or arty. So opportunity cost is significant.

No. The Eye does not reveal cloaked or underwater units. It's purely a vision radius.

As for energy costs, for lack of a better explanation, the Eye could be seen as essentially 'teleporting' a camera into orbit over it's target. Energy intensive.

I know of a mod that takes that one step further, utilizing the anti-teleportation features and units of Black Ops, it blocks the Eye from working within it's radius.

Ok, my bad, i checked it, eye can not see any cloaked units...
it is just omni paired with any vision radius gives vision on cloaked units so you can actually see what unit is cloaked there, i thought that should not happen...
eye can see underwater stealth units
