Like it was back in vanilla, same base 10 as the commander has.

Ah finally after a long wait we got engimod, we will have to rebalance the game completely now since there has not been a lot of testing done for engimod yet!

Oh hold on I think that was 2.5 years ago

Of course, i mean halving BOTH the buildpower and buildtime, so that "everything is as before" just that your com & engies have "double" the influence on unit production now.

What is the point? Not an attack, seriously curious as to your objective, as IMO Engiemod has only worked for Land thus far, with the other two theatres needing further adjustment.

Getting raids out sooner, greedy vs. safe playstyles, more options.

Most of what you described is more due to map design and, above all else, reclaim. The way reclaim is right now massively shifts play in favour of waiting to attack until you have overwhelming force; multiple smaller attacks are an active detriment to you, rather than simply a failure. The T3/4 relationship with T2 is to be solved in the next major balance patch. The T1/T2 I feel is pretty good right now, better than ever in fact, but it should also benefit from the proposed veterancy changes (Vet based on mass killed, shared amongst all units doing the damage, no more instaheal, replaced instead by max hp and much higher regen) in terms of T1 becoming stronger in relative terms.

I couldn't disagree more icedreamer, t2 right now is so insanely strong compared to t1. And thanks to engi mod t2 can be spammed out way faster and just neutralizes all t1. Once t2 is in the field your t1 is essentially just a stalling technique for you to get t2, because it is all completely useless

i always hear so many arguments about t2 spam and engymod...

no matter how good engymod factories are, you will (should) be limited by eco. The whole point of slave factories was that they were roughly on par with assisting engies, mostly for convenience, partly for adjacency, partly for BP HP, at the cost of being totally locked into the factory.

i have yet to hear a single good reason why T2 factories shouldn't be efficiently spammable just like T1 factories are. the only thing honestly that has any remote amount of merit is the idea of putting a slave-range around an HQ, rather than it being global.

but if slave BP is nerfed at all, once again engies would be more efficient, and engies are also already significantly more useful.
also, a stream pillars now is more useful than 4 pillars later. Navy is almost always made by heavy assist for this very reason, since it takes so long to build. slave factories are for laziness and pathing issues.

rolling into a base with 4 t2 slaves is alot less dangeorus than rolling into a base with a heavily assisted t2 factory, considering all those engies can just spam up PD. bonus points if they;re sparkies.

If he has the mass to spam enormous amounts of T2 at you (because 2 pillars CAN be swarmed by t1, but after that you get density issues), and you are still T1, something is wrong. T2 upgrade is not so expensive that by the time we are talking about these numbers, you should not have it... i mean if anything simply for access to pgens, shields/pd/tmd you want t2 engies...

and let's not forget that even engymod is not enough to make T3 spammable in comparison to T4, but it is viable given the investment, which is completely a step up from "pointless"
