Hey all, just asking around if anyone has taken the time to pass over shloob10 and make it even a bit more worthy of a map in the ladder pool, appearance wise.

If not, i'll happily go get it done

It's a really intense map, I like it. You need to create factories like on Vya-3 to gobble up the trees/rocks to compete on top of everything else.

Here is the latest image i have, some other images are here: http://imgur.com/a/yNx1l

All of the horrible heightmap is fixed, textures are better, and the "underground reclaim" (when you place your reclaim and then move the ground around) has been moved to the on ground position, most trees have just been moved around and are cloned onto the other side for equal reclaim

Stuff remaining to do will be Decals, and then re placing the markers in the same spots they are in the original, as you can see they currently float off the ground.

The only real change in the heightmap is in the mid points, where in the original the two parts are divided by a strange cliff face there is now a huge land barrier, this is because having the two blended together means i need something to stop units from crossing from the offramp onto the mid parts.

This whole thing should be done by tomorrow, and i can re texture in loads of different flavours if generic evergreen is too bland,

Could you fix maps like Syrtis Major and Badlands that have known symmetry issues?

Nice work on Rumble so far... any in-game shots?

If you can point them out, should be easy

And nothing from ingame, map uploading is down atm and also the markers are not placed, every thing is 30ft in the air xDDD

Just select them all and "shake" them. They will snap to the ground. With placing on grid enabled

Of course, but with some changes to the original heightmap will mean making sure they are positioned correctly to allow storages and stuff..
