CodingSquirrel wrote:Fun fact, if you delete an order with Ctrl+shift+right click, spread attack doesn't care and will leave it in. It collects a history of your orders and doesn't update if you delete them. I was too lazy to fix this when I was working on it.

Did you just inherit the randomness from the original author of the mod and just not change it or is there some rational to it being random and you guys want to keep it that way. ? Because I really don't say why we would want it to be random, especially on the first attack pass.

It's not random on the first pass. I make sure that each enemy is targeted before resorting to random. The reason that random is used at that point is if some of the enemies die before the others then, depending on the order you issued the attacks, then most of them start attacking the same target because it's the next for all of them. Random ensures that further attacks are more evenly spread out.

But I experimented with it and I only randomly get an even distribution on the first pass:

The two left bombers attack a single target on the first pass.

Are you testing beta, or current FAF where it hasn't been implemented?

Massive advantage over everyone else aka the reason I am 2000 rated:
  • Name Stuff - experimentals needs fancy names, they look more scary ^^ RAWR >.<
  • Vanilla mucis mod - good music = instant +200 rating boost
  • NoShake - need to get advantage by camera not shaking so I dont missclick orders
  • Notify - qeue up ACU upgrades?? that's ultra abuse against those who have to click every upgrade
  • Selection Sort - was mentioned here earlier, very usefull to find stuff in your base, need to get moar and moar advantage
  • Supreme Score Board - sharing resources and units to allies with one click? - HERESY
  • UI Mass fab manager - and here we are the tip of the argue, the reason of my high rating, auto eco, no need to manage anything
  • abus[e] - just to cause argues like these, top secret [e]mpire stuff

Additional Camera Stuff v3.2 - Stops you zooming your minimap in accidentally and when you hold shift down it lets you see attack and build ranges of a selected unit around your cursor, as well as around the unit.
Common Mod Tools v1 - Stops mods crashing.
console++ 1.01 v1 - Has some console commands lined up that may or may not stop ui lag according to a TA4Life post.
hotbuildex v1 - Customisable hotbuild mod Sheeo built for me before he was famous - minorly bugged, but let me keep my hotbuild keys when hotbuild was integrated, completely invaluable for me as I use hotbuild keys to the point of build sonars using hotbuild.
Notifications v5.2- Idle factories and engies are bad, scouting is good, knowing when your upgrade completes or your drop happened is also nice.
Notify v3.8 v3 - Remembering that your ACU upgrade is done is nice, being able to queue them is handy.
Reveal Positions v1 - Useful on the off-chance I play team games, or for if I think I'm paying too much attention to rating when I'm searching and want to hide the score screen.
Selection Sort v0.2 - Cos it's nice when your selected units are ordered in a way that makes sense.
Selen Deselect v1 - Gets rid of man Selen misclicks.
Suicide Confirmation v3 - I lost a game by accidentally killing my ACU, so now I have this mod.
Supreme Score Board v1.2 - Great for replay watching and has LazyShare functionality.
UI Party v9 - Makes it easier to select and order your units, icons for upgrades are cool, and I helped test a new awesome feature that adds Supreme Economy functionality to help better monitor what you're spending on and upgrade-pause all your mexes when it's time to eco. Coming to a mod vault near you (and probably more stuff).
UI Stuff v1 - Mod that makes reclaim show up further zoomed out (not sure it's in the vault, the author said they'd put it up there).
ZeP_MiniMapZoom v2 - Hides the minimap when you zoom out.

EDIT: Forgot Advanced Strategic Icons - everyone should try it, at least in a bunch of replays, and see if it helps.
