Which faction do you belong in?

I hope self-advertising isn't against the rules or anything. I've been doing a lot of web application development lately and I thought you guys might have some fun with my latest creation.

Supreme Commander Faction Recruitment Test

It's a personality test designed to assign you the most suitable of the four Forged Alliance factions. It has a current total of over 30 possible questions, but the quiz gives you your results the moment it's decided on them. This means you don't have to go through all 31 questions - you might only need 20, 10 or even just 5.

Let me know what results you get, and I'd be happy to hear any and all thoughts!

this test makes me want to answer everyone at every step. I can't make up my mind gaahhh!

lol I got aeon. the race I play the least xD

but then again the mentality of the races isn't a choosing factor when most people play but rather what strengths and weaknesses they have.

I love UEF and play a bit or seraphim as well but I don't sympathize at all with the totalitarian mindset they are in. I don't really act out of revenge so seraphim doesn't suit me. I'm not a pious man either and I care little for love so Aeon's not it.

the hive-mind aspect and rebellious mentality of the cybran is something I feel closer too.

Anyways it's a really beautifully laid out and expertly written test. I highly recommend it!

you should add social media buttons at the bottom and adapt how it shows up when linked!

You're quite right. The test is about 70% mentality and 30% playstyle. The playstyle questions attempt to pick you a faction that enables you to capitalize on your strengths and weaknesses, like giving you UEF points if you have difficulty with micromanagement and Cybran if you have issues playing defensively. I should definitely adapt in some more playstyle questions.

I've never looked into social media buttons before, but I'll take a look!

I am always comparing the factions in FA with fantasy War3 for example
Aeon = Elves (long range, high precise damage, tricky units like mercy, best mega units)
UEF = Humans (Armoured heyvy defense, average damage, not much sneaky stuff)
Cybran = Undead (sneaky stealth, good overall offensive units, and biggest mega units)
Seraphim = Orc (Simply overall strong, not much variety)

you used somehow the personality attributes
brave, religious and so on thats difficult

Those are some good comparisons. I hadn't thought of it much like that, other than the obvious Aeon/Elves parallel! I mean, come on. Even most of their commanders look like elves.

Anybody think it might be worthwhile creating a separate version intended to help new FAF players choose a faction?
