Hi, I'm a VERY new player so probably my opinion shouldn't hold too much weight in these regards, still since Zock asked everyone's opinion i'd like to break a lance in favor of Monaky and Regor, those are two of the maps i enjoy the most, Monaky in partcular, (maybe is partially due to the fact that's new for everyone and not just for me so i dont have the usual map disadvantage), but i also think it is a genuinely interesting and unique map.

The current maps i have some issues with are Crossfire and Bermuda but i guess that's to expected from a new player.

That said i think ZLO's suggestion would work great, given someone have the time and expertise to code it.

A new player that prefers Regor VI? Can this be? Please credit Lionhardt as that is a custom 1v1 map he created.

Crossfire and many of the other large maps that have been booted out of 1v1 have a single problem: they require so much micro and care to properly hold territory that most people just opt for a t3 air tech rush and it's easy to do.

I do think t3 air rush is a requirement on pizza no matter the skill level, since you can't defend everywhere with cruisers

Who am I to talk though, I do it every game no matter which map

Nah, I just hate the map. It's not my style and the few times I've played it nothing has worked except t3 air rush. Everyone spams air like crazy and worse if they are floaty-naughty-floaty it becomes the annoying task of spot-defending beaches.

If you're Cybran just go for a corsair rush and destroy power - easy. The super-tactical drops and beach-landing assaults just suck and brute force wins each time.

I think there could be more earlyagression/raiding maps in the pool (like palms).most maps atm are just very static/eco heavy so that strong agression usually doesnt pay off. also there could (should) be some landheavy/onlyland 20x20 maps in the pool.

The last big rotation was almost one month ago. It's about time for the first short term rotation, what maps would you like to see replacing the current short rotations maps? How much did you like Crimson, Arctic and Crossfire?

Crimson Feud is okay, not my favorite, but it's a 5x5 with excessive resources and reclaim. The two hydros make an early comm gun rush way too easy imo.

Artic Refuge is a dinosaur of a SC map where the top comm can easily kill the cars in the "middle meeting" spot and get a fairly quick veterancy advantage. If that map didn't have all that BS reclaim in the middle it would probably be one of the best. I say edit the map if it wants to be a part of the rotation. Maybe replace this with "Veil of Stars" that was in the U1800 tourney? That map was a pretty good alternative with decent reclaim scattered about and good territory-control gameplay.

Crossfire is a great map. I wouldn't mind it hanging in there a little longer so I could learn how to play it better.
