Supcom isn't quite the hardware benchmarker it used to be (at one time it stood alongside Crysis as the ultimate test), but I still really enjoy these threads. Would like to see your setups, what settings you run, fps, sim speed, anything like that. Especially like to see some of the Tripple screen setups that some of you have mentioned in Chat.

For me I still have an entry level system that has seen me good since 08.
Trusty old Q6600 Quad 2.4Ghz(to be OC's one day)
Win XP
2 Gig Ram
Radeon 2900 Pro 512mb
Basic Logitec kb+mouse (no hi pro gaming mouse or kb would make me suck any less Im sure)
1680x1050 2ms Samsung
Supcom looks fantastic at native res, but my poor old 2900 can only muster:
1280x800 Text Hi - Shadows Med - No AA smoothly.
Looking to get a ATI 6780, Win 7-64 for 2 extra gig of ram and OC the ol Q6600 to 3/3.2 in the future.

But I do have a pretty awsome Total Annihilation / Supcom collection, so I'll post pics of that instead:

Notice the map designs on paper, and that Supcom 2 is hidden underneath F.A.
Have a few more pieces to finish out my collection until its as good as Chris Taylors tho..

Lets see your setups, esp u tripple screen guys.

Well since no one seems to be sharing their setups, here are a couple of pics I saved back off GPG forums.
A nice dual screen setup:

and this setup with a 50" TV in the background used for 2nd screen cartographic minimap:

Anyone playing on a 30" screen at 2560x1600? Ive always wanted to see that.

Crayfish! Hands off my PC! :P

But seriously, I have a really similar system, virtually unchanged since I first started playing Supreme Commander.
Altho I'm having some problems lately, so I'll probably get a whole new system next month.

Intel q6600 @ 3GHz
2 GB DDR2 800 @ 1GHz (This was a damn mistake. When I decided to get 2 more GB it was no longer available...)
4 x 320GB Samsung Spinpoint F4, 2 of those in a raid
8800GT (with a nice aftermarket heatsink  )
Display wise I have a dual setup:
21.5" Packard Bell LCD 1080p
42" Panasonic TX P42E30 1080p Plasma TV

Just a basic keyboard and mouse atm. since my MX1000 broke (lol, was shit anyways)

What is that a 70" tv?!

Yeah good old Q6600 came along just as Supcom came out, so I think alot of people here rocked it, even if they moved onto the i series now. Such a great little bulletproof chip, Im hoping I can upgrade a few bits and OC on air to see me for a while yet too :) I think we spoke on FAF chat before no?

What kind of setting and performance are people getting now with these high end systems? People running HQ shadows and AA now at 1920x1080? I remember when Supcom first came out, they did a benchmark on a 30" 2560x1600 everything full, ofc the top systems back then (like Capitans) got low fps, but Ive always wanted to have a system that could run that at solid 60fps.

Count twice that. And it's a video projector.

That must be awesome, I got to play on my brothers 50" TV once and that was pretty amazing.
What res and refresh do you run Supcom at, and how is it to play?

There's no real advantage to gigantic screens in gaming. Once you have to turn your head to look into the corners you're actually at a disadvantage, so you can't sit too close either way.
It's easy enough to fill the usuful parts of your vision using a 30" screen, you'll just have to sit closer to it.
With my 42" TV there's already no point in getting closer than maybe 4-5 feet.

Just my 2 mass.

Yeah I did notice that on my bros 50", I had to sit so far away that it actually was like just sitting in front of my 21" monitor. But being able to run at 2560 would look awsome. 1680 native on my 21 looks beautiful enough, but I cant even run that on my old GPU.
I have to say tho, ZePs 140" projector must feel like being Dr.Brakman!
