Balancers whoever. you think you're helping. you're not. stop.

On the topic of t4 bombers in particular.

You only cater to +2000 who represent less than 1% of the playerbase.

maybe they can make the t4 bomber drop a bomb but I can't.

You're gonna say "ground fire!" - I DID.

t4 bomber was already fukin shit it's gotten nerfed into the ground to the point of being a very big scout.

Just for clarification, are they breaking the game or are they just screwing up the asswasher? Or are the breaking all balance in general and this is your biggest complaint?

Also the asswashers inability to drop bombs is a programming issue AFAIK <- not a balance issue. I personally have not had trouble getting bombs to drop in most instances and the micro required for this I learned in about 10 seconds in sandbox mode while I was messing around with experimental. Also I don't understand why balancing with the players who play this game at the highest ability should effect the lower rated people in a negative way. (I've seen this mentioned before and I've never understood, I'm not saying your point is irrelevant, I'm just not sure how it applies)

Also I don't understand why balancing with the players who play this game at the highest ability should effect the lower rated people in a negative way. (I've seen this mentioned before and I've never understood, I'm not saying your point is irrelevant, I'm just not sure how it applies)


in the case of the ashwassah it applies alot. it used to just drop bombs but they reduce the delay on it's bomb dropping and made some other changes. it can no longer drop anything.

sandbox will be unrepresentative. I don't know why but it never behaves the same way online as it does in sandbox. perhaps connectivity can affect it.

I agree, time to start thinking about average players more and maybe consider their opinion on balance. Not like we have a lot of higher rated guys playing anyway, they're a dying kind.

Except the change was bigger reload time and how the bomber actually drops the bomb wasnt touched.

So you should stop that rage storm

It would be nice if the "noob" population had a voice, as for the bomber itself I do think the vet nerd was idiotic ( it is their only good exp and now it's 2 times as hard to give it even the slightest survivability?) the entire faction has been nerfed into the ground, but not cause of the balancers per say, rather how it works.
Look at ilsh vs viper
The ilsh wasn't (in last patch and maybe even the nerf before that) nearly as OP as viper can be, but the ilsh's strength, although not as ridiculous was ALWAYS exploited cause there was nothing for the sera player to do except maybe tac pack, so it got nerfed. Again.
Same thing at every tier, if a sera unit is good YOU USE IT EVER DAMN GAME cause chances are it's the only stand out unit I the tier.
What I'm saying is a faction with so few unit choices will always be Looked at as Op for that reason, so stop nerfing it!! (Especially without fixing some of the other issues I the faction)
There are a few things that I would call blind mistakes that really hurt sera tho. These include
•making battle ship nuke standard, I understand taking one of its abilities away, by both???
•nerfing ilsh speed; done with the rest of t2, destroyed sera's one hope for raiding
•Nerfing subhunter; or better: over nerfing sub hunter; it was op, yes, but it should be a spamable unit, have you seen what happens to their destroyer in large numbers? It's not pretty

Nothing was changed that might cause the bomber to be unable to drop on a standard bombing run. It's always been fairly unstable, but is in a much better place for drop chance than it used to be. Also, I'm 1100 rating, and I can hoverbomb with it anyway. I just checked. It's not hard.

allow me to correct you:
Well hover bombing leads to several issues

Mistakes are costly you are further away from the enemy base than regular bombing = safer
You are a giant target you can outrange sams by hoverbombing
It's not like czar or bug, you can use ONE at a time since ahwassas dont collide with each other, you just put them in the same place and you can micro 2,3 at the same time
And add to all this the fact you need to kill 100 engineers to get your first vet and it's kinda stupid
In some cases it's absolutly fine, other times it's just stupid
imo nerfing range would have been a better solution than increasing reload (as much) on ahwassa.

inb4 this is ignored again or w.e.

no i shouldn't.

t4 bomber drops bombs in vanilla FA it can't drop anything in FAF.

it's ridiculous that people think this is ok. it's not!

reload is absolutely unrelated to this issue since my two bombers hadn't ever dropped a bomb before so it would have been their first.
