Unit Database Files

Postby HopeAndWonder » 05 Aug 2015, 08:59

I am searching for the main file of the unit DB which contains all information about the units like Range, Damage etc..
I know these information is also in some file in the FA folder on my harddrive however, it would be really nice have a file I can use with Java.
For example .json. I found a file from spookys Database on Github, but I am not sure if it is outdated. I hope someone can help me with this or give some advice

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking for. Most unit information is stored in their individual .bp files, so you'd have to look them all up individually by unit ID number.

We do have http://content.faforever.com/faf/unitsDB/ which has the stats of most units. I believe it reads the current FAF build, and should be up to date.

I am looking for something like this https://github.com/spooky/unitdb/blob/m ... index.json, if it even exists for the "official" unit DB. One file which contains all the information. I know that the unit information is splitted in indiviual .bp files. What I want however, is a file I can use with Javascript.(I dont know much about Blueprint). I could use the file i mentioned, but I think it is not updated regulary.

That what i was looking for, is there a way I can extract these myself, because the Unit Data is updated regulary, for example after a patch?
