EG, if a map is not chosen by you or your opponent, it will not get selected?

Doesn't this favor people who only choose one map? (not criticizing, just trying to learn)

Selecting maps does nothing. It is just a left over vestige of the past.

Then why...

?

And if not, can we have it back? Why take it away? With the 33/33/33 (yours/opponent's/popular) people still played new maps, but also had some say. I thought that was a nice balance.

serenity desert has a problem in showing the shadow of units in the brown passage, passage between the two mountains

when you zoom out a bit there is no fog of all units, anymore, looks dull

Would like to say that shloob10/ rumble in the jungle is quite the interesting map- lots of raidable expansions and map control is important. More like it would be grand.

Also, any chance of more naval maps? Point of reach, open waters, etc...?

Yea, I really like schloob.

I still think there are too many big maps. I don't have a problem with big maps, but nothing like wanting a quick 15 minute game and getting Roanoke or VYA-3... not to mention they are just stressful, there's so much to pay attention to.
