Volunteers to Convert Phantom Nv1.0???

Long enough I've wondered where Phantom was in the Featured Mods sections of FAF; obviously not there I made some inquires;
- Problem is, it needs to be converted for FAF (w/e this means, some1 knows!) and there is understandably a heavy work load already on the community developers and dev. supporters and unfortunately can't get to it just yet...
:idea: Here's what I was thinking, before I immerse myself entirely into something I have NO idea of whatsoever; someone with the required knowledge and skills could volunteer to take on this task. I'm told it's "not hard to do." :?

Uber already did it with his version of the mod. He's making revealing who the phantoms are mandatory.

Right on, good stuff. I'm sure a good chunk of the community would still appreciate having Phantom N as an option too though, seeing as that is still the most common version of phantom being hosted on FAF.

This is incorrect. Phantom-X will support both revealing phantoms and not revealing them, as I posted in the thread in the contributor forum.

Any progress on Having Phantom N v1.0 as a Featured mod? I Believe other mods have been added since, and Phantom N v1.0 Is still regularly played on FAF, more often than some of the feature mods too I'm sure...

Considering this mod, Uber (Great work on the option of revealing phantoms btw), could you add the options of additional phantoms. Phantom Nv1.0 was designed for up to 8 players (3 phantoms) but now we could go to the point of up to 12 players which would have 4 phantoms in the game.

I think that adding just that option is enough, since that would imply a 2v1 situation on innocents vs phantoms, which is just the situation at games with six players (like Roanoke).

It's finished and is currently being tested. Adding support for more Phantoms, plus a couple other small things, is something that I'm considering before the 1.0 release. :)

Could someone explain this mod to me again, I remember that it was very popular, and susposed to be alot of fun.

At the start of the game, everyone is allied.

At the 8 minute mark, a number of players is selected as phantom* (the others are named "innocent")
The phantoms have to be discovered and killed for the innocents to win (all phantoms must die).

If all innocents die, the phantoms will fight a standard FFA war (alliances are not automatically broken, but this might be reconsidered in the new mod to get an automatic break between every phantom if all innocents die).

The only advantage of the phantoms is a certain mass and energy bonus (the percentage bonus they get is based on the number of players in the game).

*At the 7 minute mark, ever player can choose the number of phantoms (one up to three and possibly four in the next mod version). It's a standard voting system: highest number wins. It is standard accepted that 6 player games get 2 phantoms. 7, 8 usually get 3 (7 may be debatable). 5 also gets 2 and games with less players are usually not played.

This hints to a 2v1 outnumbered situation on the phantom side: 1 phantom on every 2 innocents. It would mean that 12 players get 4 phantoms.
