I just wonder if SupCom air units in the first game are space-capable, not necessarily ground to orbit capable, but capable of operating without atmospheric presence?

Is it possible to ask either of these guys about it?

Yes, lets do this!

Lets waste the time of two guys who...

-Have nothing to do with the community.

-Sold us out. (Think SC2)

-Most likely have something more important to do.

This raise a good question, where's the council member for lore? Dammit this is a burning issue here!
Also f*** the name on the box, Zep and now Visionik are the reasons this game still exists, they are the real powers that be.

No need for that...
It was never implied aircraft in supcom are capable of exoatmospheric flight.
They do have separate spaceships.
Peace through superior firepower.

Consider the books dotswarlock wrote as canon. In book 7 (Survival) and book 9 (Operation Titan), there are some battles on asteroids or moons, with little to no atmosphere.

Well nothing says there is atmosphere on the maps (no wind energy power plant or flamethrowers) besides the vegetal life we can see on some maps.

I remember Total Annihilation having maps with no atmosphere like moons or hostile planets. If you look at the vault we have also maps like that for FAF (but idk for the original game).

So i think it is safe to assume supcom machinery can operate in near 0 atmosphere condition :ugeek:
