Competitive replays needed!

Now that build 32 is running on FAF, and that a few issues have been corrected, it's time to run games to see how balanced Nomads currently are (check the balance changelog).

It would be great to have competitive 1v1 games between Nomads and the other factions on different kinds of maps, but also 2v2 of players of equal level.

Then you can upload replays here, or tell their ID so that we can find them in the replay vault.

maybe host a 2v2 tournament where one player plays Nomads and one player another faction per team. so you could see the balancing. this would need more testers though to get a tournament going.

Why would we need a tournament format?

Can't we just play when theres enough people online?

Whenever I'm searching for a nomads game I just pm all the nomads players who aren't in games.

Also nomads testing is currently on hold...

Kryo, there will be tournaments with Nomads for sure, but before that, we need simple 1v1 and 2v2 games, to see the areas where balance is out of whack.
The mod is fixed by the way, so go go go!

Hi guys, replays of Nomads games are still checked for balance / bug fixing, so whenever you have time, just play the faction and you'll contribute to fine tune balance for open beta / release. The more you play, the more you help!

Nice game but seriously, it took more than an hour to watch at +10.
Zock could basically keep a t3 UEF navy at bay with Nomads t3 units. I guess he would have won if he added some units to his combo, like t2 torp gunships, frigates, and t3 hovertank, and move his cruisers to stun the t3 battleships.
OR drop a Crawler + SACU just behind his opponent's base.

Do we still need some competitive playtesting? Perhaps we can organise some games between people of equal skill level?
