Unit Database!

Ah ok, is there any chance that will be created again some time soon? Or that something similar can be created somehow by me using my game files?

Nobody is working on a DB at the moment. If you know how to make a database, you can indeed find all informations in the Nomads game file (units folder). It's not that straightforward though, because special balance values are used for FAF in a specific folder, so there is some work required to update the files with these values before they can be used in a DB.

EDIT : I guess it would be easier to copy the code used for FAF DB and add the nomads files but Brute51 never bothered asking Zep or Sheeo for it. I hope he will someday but then that leaves the question of where to put it. We don't have a server or website.

I can put something together that combines the FAF specific balance changes into the normal blueprint and write that to a file somewhere, per unit. Would that be useful? I can also make something that writes all important Nomads unit stats to XML files if that's more useful.

Absolutely anything helps most people just don't have anything to go off of. I'm happy to assist where I can, I just want to get the word out there. Pip corrected me a tid bit about the T2 F/B which I didn't know, I'll test it later.
