AI bug with Nomads

Nomads seem to throw off any AI opponents I've noticed they just seem to amass a large amount on units, but never seem to attack. Engineers still expand, but I've trying to practice and compare the Nomads to the other factions.

Try different AI (Sorian, etc) and also maps with AI markers (for instance default maps), if you want it to behave normally.

I've noticed the same thing but I've always thought that that is how the normal AI (non-Sorian) plays on maps without markers. Maybe it isn't, I don't know. I may look into it (it seems like a daunting task) but for now I recommend using Sorian AI's which seems to work right.

FYI- I tried again after the patch update Replay: 3711273 the Sorian AI seems just to sit there for the most part. I tried a normal AI as well to see how it would go, but about the same results.

In that replay I see no real evidence that the Sorian AI isn't working, they kept building, teching up and attacking. You were going against normal AI's (not cheating AIx' which tend to be harder), you had a superior economy so you easily outproduced the AI. Having said that, there are a lot of AI related errors in the log (not necessarily caused by Nomads mod). I"ll look into it.

Brute The GUI isn't functioning quite right. I show up, but can't build anything with regular clicks and such. However, I can build by turning on "build mode" and hit the appropriate letter with the factor or item I want build. That worked just fine, but not everybody going to default to this idea I'd guess.

Yeahh I got the same problem and i had no ui mods or anything on :/ kinda sucks since this is my favorite race. Hope it gets fixed soon... guess ill need to learn how to use hotkeys in the meantime

Hmm, maybe FAF latest UI update screwed things up. I hope it can be fixed soon.
