heyo, i had an incredible awesome and cool idea today about the t3 artylleri

we all know it is INCREDIBLE expensive to build, and is practically useless if opponent builds up a ton of shields which makes ur 90k investment useless

so my idea is kinda the same from supcom 2

the artylleri there is fairly cheap and possible to build alot of if u want to do that. but they are also very weak.

so the idea is to reduce the t3 artylleri cost to maybe 1/10 of its original pricing so that its actually possible to build this sweet awesome thing in an normal game, but also decreasing its damage output alot.

1 projectile now does 5000 damage if im not to wrong, and it could also be possible to decrease this amount by 1/10 but still have the long range

or maybe decrease the cost of it even more! so u can mass produce it like u could in supcom 2...maybe 2-3 per game? that would be really superb.

it would not be somekinda t3 game ender. more like a t2 arty installation, good but not very good if built just 1 of it. u need many of them to really take out an enemy base or destroy land forces

tell me what you think of this balance idea!

No. Even if it does 1/10th the damage you still need to cover your base in shields ect and that would cost more than 9k mass. the objective of the game would be to rush these because it cost so much to counter than to build and can hit all mex points ect. I do think it needs something done to it to make it slightly less useless but.... its broken beyond repair from the start.

No. Artillery wars have got to be one of the most boring outcomes in SucCom 2, and reward turtling to an extreme. As it stands, they are an unlikely tool to win you a game, but a nice suprise if you catch someone neglecting shields.
